Our GEDA passenger lifts are ideal when you need a large indoor lift, but do not have space for a large crane to place the lift. Due to its simple, robust and yet modular design, these indoor passenger lifts are highly adaptable to your project and location. This allows us to easily integrate it into scaffolding footbridges, custom-built lift shafts and even replace the metal sliding doors with glass ones. Perfect for roofed shopping areas and public transport where you want to maintain access and fit the lift seamlessly into the environment.

Versatile passenger lift for indoor and outdoor use
You can have the GEDA passenger lift installed both outdoors and indoors. Thanks to the compact design and relatively small parts, we only need a small crane or telescopic handler to assemble the passenger lift. This is why our GEDA lifts are often deployed in covered shopping areas, railway stations and other places where our other lifts do not fit. Nevertheless, this passenger lift still offers payload capacity for 12 people, mobility scooter access and user-friendly operation. The lift is fully compliant with the current safety regulations and is always inspected on site by a certified third party.
Versatile passenger lift: compact and swiftly installed
This is why GEDA passenger lifts are so often deployed at train stations and shopping areas. It fits nearly anywhere, is vandalism-proof and highly customisable to the situation. And the lift can be installed overnight in most areas. This allows us to avoid a lot of inconvenience in busy areas such as airport terminals, train stations and inner-city shopping areas.
Installing a GEDA indoor passenger lift overnight, within Cologne train station
A good example of how adjustable and versatile our GEDA passenger lifts can be is the lift we installed at Cologne train station in Germany. Over the course of little less than a year, three passenger lifts would be out of order. As Cologne train station is one of Europe’s busiest train stations, maintaining barrier-free access between the platforms was required.
To do this without causing too much interference in the busy station hall, we chose to only work during the night. Because of the low entrance to the hall, we disassembled the lift cabin further than we normally would. Within the hall we assembled the lift, fitted all the lift masts and hoisted the doors and lift cabin into place with a small Manitou telescopic handler.
