Temporary passenger lift for homecare flat in Assen
Between week 3 and week 10, one of our RECO temporary passenger lifts has provided access to the Amstelflat in Assen. Last week, we moved the lift to the nearby flat "De Stroom". Until week 19, the temporary passenger lift with pedestrian walkways will offer mobility to disabled residents of 24 home care flats.
Teaming up for a temporary passenger lift
In the Pittelo district, healthcare group Zorggroep Drenthe rents out various flats for home care and temporary stays. At the De Amstel and De Stroom flats, various facilities are available to the residents, such as physiotherapy and pedicure practices, and there are regular activities. Because the existing indoor lift is temporarily out of use, the healthcare group and the housing corporation have teamed up to offer a solution: a temporary passenger lift. For each floor, pedestrian crossbars were supplied with the lift to bridge the distance between the lift and the balustrade.
