Disabled Platform Lift 3m with staircase

In some cases the situation requires you to redirect external access to the first floor or levelled surface entirely. If that is the case we offer temporary stairs with an external platform lift. The staircase is made suitable for public areas such as train stations and shopping centres by placing non-slip surface panels and extra handrails for visually impaired. The spacious external platform lift is wide enough to offer access to mobility scooters or several rolling cages.

External platform lifts for disabled access between floors

To offer wheelchair access to the next floor, our external platform lifts can easily be deployed to the façade of a building. The lift is easily called and operated by using the press-and-hold buttons. These buttons are levelled at hip height in front of the lift and within the safety fences, making them accessible to anyone in a wheelchair or mobility scooter. And due to the low power requirements, small external dimensions and large lift capacity, this external platform lift can be placed wherever you require barrier-free access.

Non-slip staircase with special handrails for the visually impaired

When you’re planning to create a temporary bypass for all pedestrians, it’s important to keep in mind that all pedestrians should be able to find and use the new route. By request we can assemble the staircase with special handrails which are more easy to find for partially sighted pedestrians. The staircase is made of durable Layher scaffolding parts, with a few adaptations to make it suitable for public use. This includes non-slip surface plates on all steps and fences with extra bars for added safety.
