Second temporary RECO passenger lift at Rotterdam Alexander Station operational

At Rotterdam Alexander Station, contractor Averesch BV from Rijssen is working to construct a new station that will bring train and metro together under a single roof. To that end, RECO Lift Solutions installed the first lift at the site last February. Since then, a second RECO passenger lift was installed on the other side of the station in early June.

At Rotterdam Alexander Station, contractor Averesch BV from Rijssen is working to construct a new station that will bring train and metro together under a single roof. In connection with these efforts, alternate routing to the platform has been in effect from last Monday. The deployment of a RECO temporary passenger lift makes this route barrier-free and accessible to all passengers.

RECO installs a temporary pedestrian bridge + passenger lifts at Maastricht station

The Wallaard BV contracting firm from Noordeloos is renovating the existing lifts between the platforms and the pedestrian bridge on behalf of ProRail. RECO has installed a temporary pedestrian bridge with passenger lifts to ensure that passengers have safe, barrier-free access to the platforms.

Verrijn Stuartweg metro station (Oostlijn) in Diemen fitted with step-free access footbridge

Hegeman+ Bouw & Infra has won a contract to upgrade 16 metro stations in Amsterdam. RECO is supporting Hegeman+ in maintaining 100% barrier-free access to the platforms for passengers. Following the completion of work on the metro stations Van der Madeweg (2016), Spaklerweg (2017) and Venserpolder (2018), RECO has now deployed its equipment at Verrijn Stuartweg station.
