Temporary passenger lift is the solution in Halsteren
Maintenance work on the indoor lift is planned for a building in Halsteren's Dorpsstraat. As a result, the lift will be out of use for a fortnight. Since many of the building's residents have difficulty walking, it is necessary to temporarily provide a suitable solution. From our point of view, an external lift proved to be the best option when surveying the building.
In order to install the external lift, the public road had to be temporarily closed for crane work. The lift was scratched in its entirety over the building and then put into place. Work on the permanent lift will start on Monday 5 December, but fortunately the residents experience little inconvenience thanks to the installed temporary passenger lift.
