Decathlon shop in Chur rents temporary passenger lift for its customers during shop renovation

Last week, RECO Lift Solutions installed a temporary passenger lift for a Decathlon shop in Chur (Switzerland). The shop of the well-known retailer is being renovated. To keep the shop fully accessible for customers, Decathlon has rented a RECO Plug and Play passenger lift. The lift shaft is 9 metres high and connects 2 floors.

The benefits of our RECO Plug and Play temporary passenger lift:

  • Barrier-free accessible lift car;
  • User-friendly and comfortable for customers and staff;
  • Assembled within just one working day;
  • Provided with a representative lift car, suitable for retail and hospitality.

Turnkey lift rental: from transport to delivery

RECO Lift Solutions takes care of the complete set-up of the temporary passenger lift in Chur. After the lift set-up has been worked out internally, the lift is transported to the site with our own transport service. Since Switzerland is not a member of the European Union, we have also completed all import formalities for the temporary lift. After our technicians completed the installation, the lift was inspected by the Swiss testing authority STVI.

Assembly and breakdown service for temporary lift

For the assembly, we hired a crane from a crane company in Chur. To offer the client a fast 24/7 breakdown service, RECO has concluded a service contract with a local branch of the Otis lift company. This is possible because RECO only uses standard lift technology. This allows us to offer our lift rental services throughout Europe with a fast 24/7 breakdown service.
