Lift rental with temporary gallery and wheelchair ramp at healthcare centre in Nieuw-Vennep
In January, RECO Lift Solutions rented out a temporary passenger lift for care facility de Westerkim in Nieuw-Vennep. Zorgstichting PCSOH is the caretaker here. Due to lift maintenance, the indoor passenger lifts were temporarily out of service. To keep the flat accessible, RECO Lift Solutions has installed temporary galleries with a temporary passenger lift and a wheelchair ramp.
Lift out of order due to maintenance at healthcare facility Westerkim
The Westerkim offers 36 care flats for elderly people with a care severity package 5. These care homes are spread over four floors with nine flats per floor. Permanent care teams work at the location, using the lifts daily with meal trolleys and residents' wheelchairs. When the lifts were undergoing maintenance in January, we provided a temporary passenger lift for the residents and staff.
Threshold-free with temporary galleries and passenger lift rental
To prevent residents and staff from being restricted in their mobility, RECO Lift Solutions has rented out a GEDA Multilift with temporary galleries. On the ground floor, we have placed a wheelchair ramp for a barrier-free lift entrance. The lift was first placed at tower B for a fortnight and then moved to tower A. At both towers, it was necessary to use temporary galleries because the lift could not be placed directly against a stairwell or gallery. With a barrier-free walking surface, a wide passageway and an enclosure of barred gates, the residents and staff had a safe solution during lift maintenance.
